This is really weird, but does Hue have junk at all? I know that the Grays don't have proper mouths anymore, and that they are mostly genetically altered, but I don't think this question has been raised yet. Thanks.

I got an email from a college student studying comics and they had some questions for me. I thought yins might be interested in my answers so here ya go. :D
- How often would you say that you interact with your fans via forums, comments, email, etc.? What would you say is the content or quality of these fan interactions? How do your fans interact among themselves?
I usually get a few notes on Tumblr a week and maybe a question or two via Facebook or email a month. I have a Twitter for TH but I don’t check it as often as I should. I’ve noticed that the fans tend to gravitate towards Twitter to talk about TH and I think it’s just so I won’t see what they say (maybe so they don’t hurt my feelings or won’t spoil something…?). I usually don’t see much discussion between fans so I just assume they don’t talk to each other much. I hope if they are talking, that they all get along well.
- What means of marketing or word-of-mouth, reviews, etc. have (in your opinion) been most effective in promoting discoverability of your work?
I use to advertise a lot my first year or two through Project Wonderful but lately I’ve been pretty quiet about TH, mostly since I’m redoing earlier chapters and I’m not ready to re-expose it. I plan to advertise through Project Wonderful again and ask for reblogs on Tumblr since that seems to be my biggest pool for new readers.
- What type of impact do you feel that your fans have on your work? Do they ever influence content?
I think they biggest impact they’ve had is how much ‘screen time’ certain characters get over others. 6 (the hybrid Majestic12 member) and Don were both last minute editions to the cast and their roles in the story have been greatly expanded upon. Characters like 8. Magnus, and Roger have gotten really big re-writes in the script, either to hype up or tone down their personalities. I’m planning to re-write some dialogue in the second volume to reflect that. The Maj12 overall are not as much throw-away characters as they use to be.
- What types of advantages have you found in working with web media vs. print?
I think I feel a lot more connected to the work while it’s in its web form. A lot of my stuff ends up in print anyway, but I still feel like it’s more accessible online. I’ve gotten a lot of fans in places like Japan, Italy, Norway and Australia that I normally never would have had if I’d only gone the print route. I also like that I can change things as I go that I wouldn’t be able to do if it were printed as I finished volumes. This is especially important to me with TH because it’s my first comic and also my first serial. The rest of my work has been single issue so if I mess up something on that, it’s more of a ‘try again next time’ situation.

The Nordics come in about 3 or 4 chapters I think. I don’t have my summary on this computer so I can’t check. ;u; Their names are based on angel sightings that have also been linked to UFO and alien activity.
What are the characters favorite foods? What is Quazky's favorite food, for instance? We know that Mum's favorite foods are fish and Rose's hair.
Quazky’s mentioned that his favorite food is skunk. Gracelis likes birds, Longus likes pigs, and Hue likes strawberry flavored things (little Project SERPO reference there). The other Greys have no favorite foods since don’t taste and/or care.
Don’s is chocolate and Rose’s prooobably baked goods. I see her as liking to bake a lot.
How do you pronounce Quazky.. I just read over it every time because i can not comprehend
